Personal Experience

Dr. Burdett is a graduate of The University of Maryland School of Medicine.  She completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center.  She served a Chief Resident in her final year.  She is board certified in General Surgery and enjoyed 15 years of practice before transitioning to Addiction Medicine.  She has been the Medical Director for Outpatient Services at Keystone Substance Abuse Services in Rock Hill since 2019.  She served as President-elect for SCSAM from 2022-2024 and is now serving as President.
